South Carolina proposal to ban youth gender reassignment

The James Younger case in Texas where the parents were fighting about letting their so called "transgender" child transition to a new gender has spurred South Carolina to purpose a law saying children under the age of 18 can not transition.

I think this is a good idea. Children 6, 7, 8... have no concept of gender. The children must be protected from activist parents who want to use their child as an example to promote a social agenda.

Studies show at least 50 percent of preteens who want to change their gender change their minds when puberty hits. We already know transgender teens are prone to suicide. So rather than encouraging this fantasy they are something they are not, focus on getting the child they metal help they need.
