More money does not mean better grades

The United States spends an unreal amount of money on our education system, yet our test scores lag behind the rest of the developed nations.

Let's be honest, maybe we need to go back to one room school houses that have a wood burning stove. Or maybe parents should take a more active role in their children's education? School bonds, lottery's... etc, is not magically going to raise students test scores.

Over the past century something has gone terribly wrong in our nations educations system, and I am not sure what the problem is.
