Communism: The Only Viable Option for the Future.

"Communism includes a variety of schools of thought, which broadly include Marxism and anarchism (anarcho-communism), as well as the political ideologies grouped around both. All of these share the analysis that the current order of society stems from its economic system, capitalism; that in this system there are two major social classes; that conflict between these two classes is the root of all problems in society;[7] and that this situation will ultimately be resolved through a social revolution."

Welcome to the strength of capitalistic ownership. This site wasn't made to give the hooligans another chance to create the old darkside community.

If that was your hope for this new forum then you are sorely mistaken.

It was made to give a rational discussion place without the need for family friendly limitations. Adult discusions sometime need adult words and the freedom to champion a controversial position. For ranting delinquent trolling screeds the 4chan sites are what you are looking for.

Communism: The Only Viable Option for the Future.

I have often wondered if Communism is the end result of capitalism. Once people feel they have no option they will vote for some form of socialism / communism. I also feel we are reaching a tipping point where young people feel the have no choice but to turn to communism.

  • Healthcare costs
  • Homeownership out of reach
  • Oppressive student debt
  • Cost of living
  • Taxes
  • Saving for retirement

One thing I feel will be the tipping point is people putting off having a family because they can not afford it. Most of us have a desire to have children. When we feel the deck is stacked against us, something will have to change.

Greed of the rich to become unGodly wealthy will drive the poor and middle class to either socialism or communism.

It will end up that way until the root cause is tackled. The costs of adding unnecessary fluff is that we've taken for granted. Things like companies carrying the consumer debt load and the cost of bureaucracy to run more bureaucracy.

Take medical care. It rises in cost due to the need to carry around so much paperwork. But look at Lasik eye surgery. It's never considered essential health care and no insurance covers it. It's a pure cash business. As a result, time has cut the price in half even despite inflation, and the quality is better. Time made that part of medicine cheaper and better because there is no bureaucracy.

Think of all the people needed to administer Medicare, both government and private.

It's the government saddling companies, taxpayers, and themselves with all this costly makework. Student debt is the prime example. The education system has been telling kids that without a 4 year degree then you won't amount to anything. But a teenager can hop on the back of an electrician's truck as an apprentice, and by 30 be a master and building nuke plants if they apply themselves hard enough. No student debt. Some of my master craftsmen on my jobsites earn more than I do and I'm the boss. If universities didn't need to expand rapidly to help millions of kids to get fluff degrees and had to be price competitive the cost of a college education would be affordable, like in my youth. I went to a good engineering school and paid for it with a crappy hospital job. I was as poor as a church mouse for 5 years but I didn't owe a dime. My 1st professional paycheck felt like winning the lottery, and I got to keep it all.

All these modern costs that push people to socialism are rooted in excess baggage actually. Fixing it will be painful to many, but we haven't gone so far out on a limb we can't come back. If the problems weren't here when I was young then how can it be too late to fix it if I haven't even become old yet?
